The Fantasy is set for a MAJOR overhaul later this year, but here are some pictures from a HC cabin (E73 I think):

I'm sure I have more. Just may take some time to find.

Thank you everyone for posting photos of the HA bathrooms and rooms. Any and all photos are greatly appreciated. There is no little information on these cabins, so having more information posted here is a great help.

    THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

On the Radiance, there are two junior suites that are handicap acessible. Here is are photos I found of 1028 (the other is 1528 so would be a mirror image of this one). The cabin is very large and has a HUGE balcony.

This is just an FYI for anyone who would need a handicap accessible cabin for 3:

I just got off the phone with Princess .... The Golden Princess does not have any cabin that are handicap accessible cabins that will hold 3 people. They will not allow a roll away bed to be brought in either for the HA cabins.

Then I checked to see if there were any HA cabins that had the option of an adjourning cabin next door. There are NO adjourning cabins at all (any category, any type of cabin) on the Golden Princess.

Top Ships for Cruisers With Disabilities

The relaxing and pampered atmosphere of a cruise vacation is the perfect solution for the approximately 54 million persons with disabilities in the United States. When selecting a ship, it's important to note that vessels built during the past five years are more likely to have purpose built staterooms, usually in more than one category and conveniently located for easy access to elevators. Most adhere closely to ADA requirements and some even go several steps beyond. Others are retrofitting staterooms to conform.

Other Things to Consider Before Booking:

Ask if the cruise line has a Special Needs brochure; many lines have published these brochures detailing the amenities offered to those with disabilities.

Most cruise lines have an alert kit for guests with hearing impairments which can be fitted to any cabin. These TTY kits include visual notification of the door knocker and smoke alarm; also a vibrating alarm, door knocker, bed shaker and phone amplifier.

Service dogs are permitted on all ships but may not be allowed to disembark at all ports. Special documentation may be required to enter certain ports of call. Cruise lines require advance notice if you will be bringing a service animal on board, and may also ask for vaccination records, an International Health Certificate, or written proof of the dog's training as a service animal. (Check with your cruise line well in advance of your cruise to find out what documentation is required.) The number of service dogs allowed per sailing may be limited by the number of animals the ship can comfortably accommodate.

    Our Top Picks:

Amsterdam/Rotterdam (Holland America) - Rotterdam is a good choice for disabled cruisers traveling with non-challenged passengers: four of the ship's 23 wheelchair accessible staterooms have connecting doors to adjoining non-handicapped staterooms. Amsterdam offers 18 outside and five inside cabins with wheelchair access. The line is also credited with installing the first wheelchair-accessible tender transfer system on board their ships.

Grand/Golden/Star Princess (Princess Cruises) - The Grand-class ships offer the most accessible cabins in various categories ranging in size from 233 to 312 square feet. Princess Cruises claims the highest number of wheelchair accessible staterooms in the industry, and offers special wheelchair-transportation gangway mechanisms on most of their ships and accessibility for major destinations in Alaska through lift equipped coaches, vans and ADA approved hotel rooms.

Voyager/Explorer/Adventure of the Seas (Royal Caribbean) - For the best accessible cabins, choose the Voyager-class vessels, which have the widest doors and most complete facilities, including Braille numbers on cabin doors, and Braille lettering outside accessible public restrooms and in elevators. The line has installed pool lifts on most of its ships, so passengers with disabilities can enjoy the swimming pools.

Millennium/Infinity/Summit (Celebrity Cruises) - Celebrity's Millennium-class vessels offer a large number of wheelchair accessible cabins, including balconies and suites, plus ramp access, wide bathroom doors and bathtubs with grab bars.

Radiance/Brilliance of the Seas (Royal Caribbean) - Radiance of the Seas offers 26 wheelchair accessible cabins in a variety of categories, plus wide bathroom doors and bathtubs with grab bars. Ramp access is also provided.

Carnival Pride/Spirit/Legend (Carnival) - These ships offer accessible cabins with wide doors and roll-in showers, elevators with reachable tactile controls and audible signals and accessible gym equipment in the Nautica Spa.

Crystal Symphony (Crystal Cruises) - Although there are only seven wheelchair-accessible cabins, the upscale cruise line arranges for lifts on tour buses to accommodate wheelchairs and challenged passengers.

Seven Seas Mariner (RSSC) - Newest and largest in the fleet, Seven Seas Mariner has six suites with verandahs in prime locations around the atrium area. Regent requires a doctor's letter before assigning a handicapped cabin or suite.

Disney Magic/Wonder (Disney) - Each Disney ship offers 8 outside and 6 inside staterooms with wheelchair access, wide bathroom doors, bathtubs with grab bars and roll-in showers. As an added bonus, Disney offers special wheelchairs designed to make navigating sandy beaches a lot easier.

Costa Atlantica (Costa Cruises) - This ship offers four inside and four outside cabins on higher decks and several accessible public restrooms, an improvement over Costa Victoria, which has six accessible cabins and no public accessible restrooms.
