Do most or all cruise lines regularly change their dining room menus? I know they have a few constants, but wondered if it is possible to find out what else is on the menu before I sail.
On Cunard the menus change daily, but there are some things which you know will be on the menu at some point. You can also order steak chicken or salmon as these are always available.
The choice of main course always has a pasta dish, a fish disch, a white meat (chicken, port or veal), a red meat (beef, lamb or venison) and a vegi option.

Celebrity has a basic set of 14 menus from which the head Chef picks out the ones that he wants to highlight on the cruise. Each one is totally different although there are constants that you can get no matter what (steak, broiled chicken, shrimp cocktail, and a few other things that I can't remember). Over time these menus do change with new dishes added and less popular ones removed.
One point I enjoy whilst having my dinner, is that you donít have to stick to the menu. An example Steak with French Fries, have asked for various potatoes as an alternative, the same with vegetables. As long as what you want is somewhere on the menu on another dish, have never had any problem in getting what I request..
