Question Dining room question

My DH & I don't really care to use the MDR while cruising (except on formal night) I am concerned that we will leave our potential table mates waiting for us on the other nights, particularly before Formal night (we cam warn them that we most likely not be back). Can we go to the MDR when we board and ask them to tell our table mates not to wait? I would like to think we would remember the first night but primary the reason we don't use the MDR is that we lose track of time (too much fun & no watches allowed!) and end up in the buffet when the hunger pangs hit.

That would be a very considerate thing to do.
If the waiters and tablemates know not to expect you it would allow for faster service.

Definitely introduce yourselves to your waitstaff and tablemates as soon as possible. You can also let everyone know that you would like to leave at a specific time (you may want to wear your watches) to go to a show. Many waiters would love to please you in this regard, and the other tablemates may also want to leave early for the same reason. Some people will leave before dessert, see a show, and then go to the buffet for a late night dessert.

Ronda .... The first Formal Night is normally the day after you embark so you could tell your waiter then.

One reason we now do anytime dining is because we eat in the speciality restaurants quite a bit and are seldom in the MDR . Also, we like AT vs TD because we aren't on a time schedule.....

AT--anytime dining

TD---traditional dining

My Signature Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
