I have just read a review on a Brilliance of the Seas cruise in the Med. After eating in one of the specialty restaurants a couple were presented with a bill for $15 for the water.
It seems this was in addition to the normal $25 surcharge per person. The water was offered throughout the meal with no mention of cost until the meal was over. I believe the water in the main dining room is free.
Does anyone know if they charge for water in the specialty restaurants on the BOS? Thanks in advance for your help.

The plain tap water is free in all dining rooms but the bottled water is not. You will pay for that in both the main and specialty restaurants.
Thanks for the information. I'll check the vintage of the tap water, give it a sniff and a taste and if I like it I'll drink that. I appreciate you taking the time to reply. Lee
The vintage on the tap water is most likely that day.
With the onboard desalination plant the water is probably more pure than the bottled stuff.

I may as well ask this dumb question, even if it exemplifies how cheap I am. I figure it is better to embarrass myself here, amongst friends than at the table with strangers. Exactly how do I ensure that I get "tap water"? Do I need to ask for it?
and btw, when you are in Chops onboard the Brilliance do ask for the price of the 2 port wines they have. I didnt, the one I chose was over $15 It was good tho
