    Talking In cabin breakfast selections?

On the Sapphire Princess, do you have a choice of hot items for breakfast in your cabin?

    Thanks...

Cunard offer a selection of cold food at breakfast. Those in the Grills can order a cooked breakfast on room service. Of course with the price of a grill class cabin, I would expet to be able to get a cooked breakfast.

When we were on Crown Princess in November 2006, I ordered hot Chocolate with my breakfast using room service, in addition to orange juice, etc.

    I believe..........

I Believe all lines offer cold and hot selections on In Cabin Breakfast Menus.

We use Cunard - QM2 - and have a selection of breakfast items that are hot and cold, the same as they would offer in the Kings Court Restaurant.

We also had a full selection of hot & cold items when we cruised the Holland America Line.

Our biggest thrill was the opportunity to enjoy should a treat on our HAL Balcony one morning.

Whenever we travel on Princess, we love to get the Champagne Breakfast served on our balcony. It's wonderful and very romantic - I highly recommend surprising your significant other with it. Currently, the price is $32, but I think it's worth it.

As for delivering a hot breakfast to your stateroom, I can't remember on Princess, but on most occasions whenever we've ordered items not on the room service menu, it was not a problem having them delivered. We once stayed in our cabin during formal night and although it was not on the room service menu, I ordered the lobster and steak, and it was delivered to our stateroom. I always told my kids if they wanted a double cheeseburger or a pizza at 2:00am they could get it. They tested that theory on our last cruise after they were the last ones to leave the bar and they got it! Of course, most ships now charge a service fee and I definitely recommend providing a nice gratuity for the server.

Alot of ships have changed their policies on what they will and will not deliver. But as I always say, it never hurts to ask. After all, they may say no, but you'll never know if they'll say yes unless you ask. So if you want something that's not on the menu, ask. You might just get it.

I seem to remember seeing a list of continental breakfast items, but then we haven't been on a cruise in a few years (yes, that's sad). Fortunately, I have a hubby who will get up early and go to the Horizon Court for breakfast. He loves their made to order omelets, and after he eats, he'll make a tray for us with cereal, OJ, pastries, bacon (for the girl), muffins, etc. So his "girls" get to eat in bed.

Cruisin Chick, you have a good man!!!!

I live for breakfast buffets while on vacation. So I always go to breakfast every morning. The only thing I ever use room service for is coffee in the morning to drink while I'm getting ready.

Personally, I much prefer eating breakfast in the dining room. We get to sit in peace and quiet while being served at our leisure, versus going to the buffet with all the noise and commotion along with all the hustle and bustle of the crowd.
