All will be kosher on MS Volendam when it arrives in Dunedin next year, as it will be the first cruise ship visiting New Zealand to cater for Jewish needs.

I think this is a great idea. While I do not eat Kosher nor practice Judaism, I do have a ton of friends who are do and I know they would be interested to hear this development.

Does anyone eat Kosher, including while onboard ship? Have you had much difficulty in keeping kosher, while still enjoying all the cuisine onboard dining has to offer?

Would you book a cruise simply because they catered to those folks who do keep Kosher, or had other types of dietary requirements?
