    Restaurants on the Royal Caribbean

I am going on the Voyager of the Seas and they have the Portofino and the Johnny Rockets restaurant. The Portofino has a charge of 20 dollars per person and the Johnny Rockets at the 3 dollars per person I believe could be more.

Now I most likely already know the answer to this question but I can't hurt to ask. The 20 dollars and the 3 dollars are to eat there. And that's it. You don't pay for the appetizers, main course, or dessert, that' is included in the 20 dollars or 3 dollar charge, correct? And the only thing that would be added on is if you get drinks, correct?

We've eaten at Johnny Rockets and at the specialty restaurants. The only additional charge at JR is for the drinks, including the milk shakes.

The same for Portofino. The charge is basically for the gratuity. Any beverages would be extra and the gratuity is automatically added to the bar bills. I believe the charge has gone up to $25 now. Someone who has been on her since last year can affirm that.

According to the RCI website, Portofino is $20 - $25. That covers all food & tips. Your drinks will be extra unless you have purchased the unlimited coke package, then the cokes will be included. Johnny Rockets is $3.95 and covers all the food you want. Milkshakes/malts are $3.60, floats $3.00 and sodas $1.75 unless you have purchased the coke sticker, then it's also included. Whenever you buy drinks anywhere on the ship (alcohol or soda) the tip is automatically added into the price you pay.

Please do yourself a favor and save that extra money before you go and spend it at Portofinos or Chops. It is soooooo worth it! If you need proof, I will take a picture of my hips and send it to you.

Yes tipping is extra, but the reservation does say that tipping is included in your price.
