Dawn Princess Balcony size?

I am just about to book a Balcony room on the Dawn Princess out of San Fransisco in Feb. I have read that the balconies are bigger on the Caribe deck is this true with all princess ships? Why are the Aloha balcony rooms more expensive if the balcony is smaller?

This will be our first cruise with Princess.

Thanks
Rick

Hi Rick!! Welcome to CLF!! Caribe does have the largest balconies as a rule, and Aloha is usually higher priced because of the location, right below lido deck. Here is a link to the Dawn and it has deck plans!! Any questions, just ask!! Glad you joined!!

Here is a Dawn Princess Caribe Deck Balcony picture (C 601 looking in to C 603). Actually I think the balconies are only bigger on the Caribe Decks on all the Grand Class ships not Sun Class.

Maybe a stupid question but is the Dawn a "grand" class ship or a "Sun" class ship?

Thanks for all your help
Rick

Gland Class: Grand Princess, Golden Princess, Star Princess, Diamond Princess, Sapphire Princess, Caribbean Princess

Sun Class: Dawn Princess, Sun Princess, Sea Princess, Island Princess, Coral Princess

Grand Class ships: hold around 2600 passengers (with the exception on the Caribbean it's 3100)

Sun Class ships: passenger count is around 1950 - 1970
