Sea Aquarium Beach Day

A 5 - Hour Tour offered by the ship which provided transporatation and beach chairs.

Our transportation was in those taxi-vans with air-conditioning. It was a 30-minute ride each way but didn't seem that long. Once there, we had a FULL 4 hours to enjoy the beach however we wished.

On past port stops in Curacao we had always walked around town or taken a snorkel tour so we didn't know what to expect. There were adequate beach chairs in both the sun and shade. Drinks (beer, Coke, etc.) and light snacks could be purchased at snack bars.

The beach was rather pretty and very clean ... a bit uneven to enter but not bad. The wave action was gentle ... not at all rough.

We enjoyed this tour and would do it again.
