Here's where to buy "Knock-Off" purses in Willemstad, Cauacao! (Gucci, Louis Vuitton, etc.)

The CAROUSEL (located at Herenstrat #16, Punda, Curacao N.A. (Telephone: 4613694)

This is a regular store in Willemsted that has been around for a long time. Guess, it's perfectly legal to sell them there. Probably, not legal to bring them back to the US!

Instead of these, I brought back tote bags for people I work with. I found gorgeous ones that say Curacao on them at 3 for $10 in the little mall you walk thru closest to the pier, on the way to the bridge to the main part of the city.

Just depends on what you want.... These are "knock-offs" with NO mention of Curacao. (Priced at $15 to $60 ... depending on size of purse....)

Also, love your suggestion as well because I like to bring back things printed with Curacao as cruise gifts. I found some very decent sweatshirts the last time there for $5 each ... 3 for $12 ....

Lulu, I probably should have posted my tote find on a different thread, but when I saw your tip, it reminded me of my purchase. Totally different type of purchase, but now you know how strangely my mind works.

Whatever .... Really, think ALL of our good shopping finds in Curacao are just great on the very same thread!

Gosh, I'm proud of those sweatshirts I bought ... and your bags were a great deal. Please, we NEED to know what are good buys. All we can do is help each other out the best we can ....

I was so disappointed that the shops were closed as we were there on Sunday. From the sounds of it, we're going to have to go back!!!

And nearly every shop closes from noon until 2 the other days of the week - seista time.
