Thread: Queen Mary to return to service

I have read reports that a Las Vegas entertainment company wants to buy the Queen Mary and restore her for transatlantic service. Ridiculous in my opinion but we will see what happens

It will coast a fortune to restore her and make her seawprth for Solas. They could build a new one cheaper than that will cost them.

why would they want to take a steam ship away when it's been there since 1966 they can't take the Queen Mary a lot of people would like to see it and it was on of the fastist ships in the world the time the steam ships were around.

I think now their just dreaming because steam ship like her are not in use anymore I really think now it's just a dream that they wish could happen

I think their just dreaming now but I can see what you mean it would be interesting to see the four and three funnaled steam ships again like for an exaple when the Titanic and the Lusitania sunkwe wont around then.
