I have never travelled in Grill class so I can't comment from personal experience, but I have heard that it is worth the extra money. So it must be good as I have never had cause to complain about the food or service on QE2. As yet I have not been on the new ships, so I can't comment on what the service is like, but i have heard that it is very good.

I am working on the wife (still). What I really want is a transatlantic from NYC to Southampton followed by skipping a local 3 day cruise (while I am in London) followed by a 7 day cruise back.

There is almost one just like that in the book but it goes the opposite way!

I did not get the Queen Elizabeth they offered me a D3, but I had asked for something D6 or lower. For the price they wanted for that cruise, I could do a longer one on QM2 or QV so I turned it down.

That is the problem with a brand new ship. There is always a premium.

I will just have to wait until 2011 hopefully by then the plumbing and everything else will be working.
