Thread: I'm Back.

Hi!

I have not been on here for a while as my family and I just emigrated to the USA aboard the QM2. It was a fabulous crossing ( October 19-25). the food was great and we simply loved the ship and its fabulous crew. The service was excellent. We are definitely now cruise fans. The atmosphere on QM2 is very relaxed and there was always something to do. I loved the Commodore club, the Brittania Restaurant, the scenic elevator was fun, actually everything was great. I even saw some dolphins. Our daughter loved the Kids Zone and never wanted to leave. One day we will do the journey again.

Hi Sue,

yes we are now in the USA. We are currently in Connecticut and next week we move to MInnesota. I am sad though we are still not on the Queen Mary 2 as we had a fabulous time.

Tom, where in Minnesota? Are you prepared for freezing weather and a lot of snow?

Now that is the way to Emigrate in Style. I guess you didn't go through Ellis Island

It was a wonderful voyage. One day we will do it again. The big test for us are the cold winters in Minnesota!
