Hello, Pippa...
While I've not personally taken advantage of this opportunity , I have several friends who really enjoy having the hosts available...(I AM sometimes mistaken for one of the hosts, so I spend more time dancing in the "Yacht Club" these days )
From past experiences, and recent cruises, one of my friends said that there are usually between four and six hosts. The hosts are very good at asking if you'd like to dance, and then making sure that each person gets opportunities. Depending on the venue (afternoon dancing/before dinner dancing/evening ballroom dancing) you may have the chance for several dances each, or more, if there are fewer others wanting to dance...
Lastly, there are other passengers who enjoy dancing, and you may find, as you meet more people, that your dance cards fill up!
Enjoy your trip!
Andrew
