Hi, I am on QE2 for the cruise before the last voyage to that hot place.

I am looking forward to being back onboard, but not looking forward it being the last cruise. I think I will have to make sure I am up early for the last ever sail into Southampton.

Mostly going to do my own thing, but planning on a doing the following Cunard trips:

Ancient Corinth and Canal
Uncovering Herculaneum

As you can tell I am a bit of a history fan

Unfortuately, the trip to Corinth does not include a trip through the canal, we just get to look at it.

A friend of mine did a trip from I think P&O which included a boat ride through the canal and back, which would have been nice.

I will be sure to take lots of pictures

I was on a land trip that included seeing the canal (not traveling down it). It is quite a sight to see.....very far down to the water level from where we were. I have pictures in our album that are really magnificent! Too bad I can't post them here. They are from the late 70's and the quality is not good enough to scan.

Stephen, you must take lots of pictures and post them for us! I'd love to see it again!
