Hi Sandy,Char and Lanky lad,
Not long now,already packing!
I, in MI too,on 2 deck.second sitting,first time I have gone for 2nd sitting,I like to watch us leaving port and usually have to leave to get changed, so thought I would try the later time..my 3rd time on the QE2,first one was Fjords in 06...Norm

1 WEEK TO GO!

I am officially on holiday

. To get things of to a good start a attended a wonderful concert tonight by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestar

Amoungst other things they played

Elgar: Cockaigne "In London Town"
Debussy: Prelude a l Apres-midi d'un faune
Chabrier: Espana
Verdi: Overture to The Force of Destiny
Tchaikovsky: Capriccio Italien

I am ready for 15 nights of relaxation aboard the one and only QE2

Thanks, I will take lots of pictures and write a report when I get back.

I will also do a bit of a live from as well, got to use up my 8 hours free internet time.
