Thread: Final QE2 Eastbound Crossing 10-16-08

We were SO lucky, and got a cabin on the last ever crossing of the QE2. We ended up in Caronia Restaurant, which is the one we've never dined in, so we're looking forward to it. (in the past we've booked it, but always been upgraded-not holding out any hope for that this time )

We're also booked on the QM2 return on the 22nd. A lovely 12 days with only one port....my favorite kind of cruise!

Anyone else able to secure a cabin?

Can I fit into a steamer trunk?

Have you thought about making a video of your 2 voyages and putting it here in our cruise video section? That would be so neat to see the cabins and restaurants and all the other good stuff that you will see first hand.

As for the video, I don't even own a camera, other than the one in my cell phone...technically challenged, but hopefully Ed will come through with photos...

Im also on this crossing, In fact im onboard for the Farewell UK cruise back to back with the final westbound and this crossing, but then you know that alreadyl

As you may know we're coming back on QM2, but have liked the information coming out on QV...so maybe that's our next 'home' on Cunard...
