    Furture Cruise Credit

Does Cunard operate a Future Cruise Credit scheme like Princess and Celebrity ?
If so since I am sailing on Cunard in January and have yet to book my May return cruise on the QM2, is it better for me to wait till I am onboard in Jan to do it ? Is there extra benefit to book an actual crusie instead of buying an open FCC ? What happens if the price drops and I have booked through a FCC , am I tied in ? Any advice ?

I know they do it, but I have never booked this way so I am not sure how it works. I do know that if you book on board you will get some OBC.

After your first cruise you will become a CWC silver member which gives you a 5% discount, but I am not sure if they will count your b2b as one or 2 cruises. Should be 2 as you are not on the same ship.

5 % discount is not to be sneezed at.
I am surprised that you have not investigated FCC's Stephen since you know you will be back again. I have done it on Princess and Celebrity and got reduced deposits and onboard credits.

It's quite a new thing on Cunard and I when I have booked on board I have already known what I was booking.

Oh so it is new. look into it next time.
I know i will be booking for next May when aboard in January . If I was doing it on Princess I would get a 200 OBC I think.(depends on length of cruise and cabin type)

I've usually booked the next trip while on board so I'm sorry I don't have any experience with the Future Cruise Credit.

But that is also classed as a future cruise credit if you got some special deal like OBC ? or reduced deposit ?
