    Thanks Ellie,

I have given up on London for sure. and maaybe Winchester to ( I would have liked to see the Cathedral people sing about). It depends if i can easily get mu pass Card for the Queen Victoria or if I have to queue with everyone boarding to get that. If i could get it on QM2 I would have a whole day free and both Winchester and West Quay become possible. I guess it is a train to Winchester .

And Tony, don't forget the balcony cabins. They are really not that much more expensive.

I wonder how many people do crossings like this? I admire your ability to do these cruises and not go to London. To me that would be like having to cake but not getting any icing.

I booked a balcony on QM2 just to see but not on Victoria, mainly because of the time of year. Maybe I will try for an upgrade on Victoria or the return trip if the balcony was worthwhile on QM2.

I would have gone to London if i had time.

However the main point of this cruise was the 2 ships. And the price was sooooo good. London was incing that never set. I will be back there in may for several days anyway.

You can't miss the Civic Centre, just look for the big white clock tower.
