    Cunard website

I have not been able to access the Cunard website for almost a week. I assume they are having problems like last year when they put up the new website and it was not able to recognize certain IP areas, sections of Canada being one of them.
When I try Cunard UK, it recognizes my Canadian IP and bumps me over to Cunard.com which of course doesn't work.
I'll call Cunard this week, although talking to myself in a mirror would probably be just as productive.

Sorry to hear your are having problems Linda. Cunard.com is working fine for me even though I should be re-directed to co.uk

Probably because your IP is in the UK Stephen. I will give it a try.

It was only certain areas last year because my sister who lives across the lake in Toronto could access it and I spoke to friends a few days ago who had been looking at the website. I'm going to a friend's house this week and will ask if we can try her computer.
I have a hard time finding good things I can say about Cunard shoreside.

Thank goodness Cunard run their ships better than their shoreside offices and website.

A slight diversion. Do you know if Cunard ( White Star Linees ) has always had a Commodore ? I was watching a Poirot episode and he was on the maiden voyage of the Queen Mary. They refered to the Master as the Captain. Of course being a Poirot episode it is does not need to be accurate in that.

Cunard have always had the rank of Commodore, but not always had a Commodore.

The first Master of RMS Queen Mary was Commodore Sir Edgar Britten.

Ah perhaps Queen Mary was not the flagship at the time.

Absolutely!! That's why I keep going back.

I was able to get into the Cunard website on my netbook but not on my desktop which I use primarily since it's linked to the printer. And the WiFi is plugged into my modem so they share that line. Thank goodness I printed my e-ticket several weeks ago for my upcoming trip.
