Thread: Anybody on Queen Victoria arriving in Venice on 15 Nov 09?

Was anybody aboard this cruise?? Maybe know anybody who was??

I have an odd request to make.

We had just arrived in Venice the night before and were staying in a canalside apartment on the Zattere just behind the Salute church.

At about 8am the next morning, the Queen Victoria cruises by right past our front door. Very excited by this unexpected treat we stood outside on the fondamenta videoing the ship.

.........So if anybody happened to take pictures or video of an idiot watching their ship and wearing bright blue pyjama pants, red socks and a red fleece.......would you be able to send them to me??

It would be great addition to our holiday photos.

I do hope someone sees this and did indeed take a picture (or 2 ) of the red & blue photographer!

Would you post the picture here if you get one? Would love to see it!

Certainly will - as soon as I work out how.

In the meantime, if this works, you can see what it looked like as she appeared past our door frame.
