Thread: Paintings of the Cunard Line Ships

Yesterday I did post these 2 links on Harry's thread.These 2 links The Three Queens Meet in New York. Queen Victoria, QM2, and QE2, painting and print. and Simon Fisher - Artist are links to maritime artists.Those 2 links do go directly to paintings I have seen aboard QE2 and QM2.The first one I have seen aboard the QM2 and the painting is about the 3 Queens in New York Harbor and the second link is a painting I saw aboard QE2.And it is about the Aquitania sailing from Pier 54 in New York.Does anyone else here have an interest in maritime art like I do? Thanks Stephen.When I was aboard the QM2 last June,I was able to have Captain Nick Bates sign a drawing of the second Mauretania that I bought at the ocean liner memorabilia store in Southampton called Cobwebs.I was on a back2back transatlantic crossing.I hope to get a copy of the 3 Queens in NY Harbor painting and a copy of Aquitania sailing from Pier 54. My mum would like the one of the 3 Queens, but we don't have anywhere to put it. Well that's what I keep telling her anyway.

Stephen,Give her the 3 Queens painting as a Christmas gift.You must have wall space somewhere in your house.Regards,Jerry
