Yes we went by train, it took about 2 hours to get there, but we had a half hour wait in Preston to the connection.

Coming back only took 1.5 hours as when our train arrived in from Liverpool the next train home arrived 30 seconds later

Did not get wet until we were walking home from the station.

As you have seen from the roll call, it turned out to be an expensive trip

Yesterday it rained none stop here!

Athough the trip was slightly more expensive than you had planned, it will be will worth it, to be back aboard again!
