There are believe it or not 2 seperate Titanic Memorial Crossings planned for the 100th Anniversary in 2012 and here are the 2 websites titanic voyages and Titanic Memorial Cruise Since Titanic's owner the White Star Line merged with the Cunard Line in 1934 and it was a Cunard Ship the Carpathia that rescued the Titanic survivors,Why not post this thread here? Titanic Voyages is quoting fares starting at $5,300 or 2,800 British Pounds and which ship they will use will be announced later this year.I hope that it is not any of the 3 Cunard Queens because I think that maybe it is not in good taste to do this.Titanic Memorial Cruise has fares starting at 3,350 British Pounds and for whatever reason their fares are not quoted in American Dollars.Titanic Memorial Cruise has stated in their website that they have chartered the Fred Olsen Cruise Ship the M.S.Balmoral.As I have stated before maybe it is not in good taste to do this because people go on cruises or crossings to enjoy themselves and how can anyone enjoy themself when they are aboard a ship that is doing a voyage that is commemorating the more than 1,500 victims of the Titanic tragedy? I am not criticizing people who may be interested in going aboard any of the 2 memorial crossings.I am just asking this question to other board members that is it right or wrong to have these Titanic Memorial Crossings?
