What Is The Most Unusual Thing(s) I Take With Me On A Cruise

Hi All,
I love this subject from other boards but find it very interesting to read.

I know that everyone wants to take cameras, certain bags, reading and even ipods to name a few.

Are there any particular items that you find important or helpful while you are cruising but others would find unusual like Duct Tape, Super Glue, Christmas Lights, Air Fresher etc...

I even heard of some people taking a Mini Mr Coffee onboard because of they wanted coffee in room or they wish to have a better cup of coffee then what us served at a Java Bar, Room Service etc....

I do personally like to take a handheld GPS unit (personal hobby), Roll of Gorilla Tape (stronger than Duct Tape), Walkie Talkies (they do work), small extension cord to use when charging multiple items in room.

I know that the QM2 should have many things to assist your needs that you may have left home but these are very interesting items to name.

Do you have more to add..........

Interesting.......

OK, BklynBoy, WHAT is the Duct/Gorilla tape for? I get that question a lot, and I say "emergencies". What is your answer?

Duct Tape is an undustrial type of tape for sealing duct work in the Air Conditioning industry.

It has becoming so popular that it has landed in many hardware stores and stores like Home Depot for many different reasons.

It is also called "Silver Tape".

You could use it if something breaks like a hole in a radiator hose on the road till you get to the next repair shop or even on a cruise, when there is a problem with a piece of luggage.

If there is a hole in it, a strap breaks, that zipper breaks.

Gorilla Tape is a new invention in the last few years that is several times stronger than Duct Tape.

Theses tapes are so strong, you may have a hard time taking them off.

But in case of an emergency. It works.

Many others may have other ideas how they use it.
