I would have probably swum to shore after the first day........ (just kidding, but boy, what an unsettling experience)

She handled it very well and her speed never dropped below 24 knots.

If you think that was bad, you should have tried being onbaord in December 2007 when we were hit by a storm with force 11 winds. I had a cabin amidships for that cruise and there was no swell just a rough sea, so I got rocked to sleep.

After all that is what she was built for, crossing the Atlantic Ocean and rough seas still cruising at a fair speed.

Come on, you two, do not like the new generation of floating buildings that have the sleek, windswept lines of a billboard?

Stephen,At least the QM2 still looks like a ship, though with verandas in the superstructure,But at least the QM2 is still a true Transatlantic Liner. Regards,Jerry

I like the shape of today's cruise ships but some are being to become a bit too boxy now.. i.e, ( NCL EPIC).

I especially love the QM2 !!!

Got to love the sexism. Note on the shuffleboard court the men and the ladies have different back lines!
