Thread: New Member here I'm Cruise Liner Fan aka Cedric 1902

I am a new member here.My name is Jerry aka Cruise Liner Fan and when I used to be allowed on another Cunard messageboard that shall remain nameless,I was known as Cedric 1902.I do recognize a few people here from that other board and I hope we can become good friends here.I have done 9 voyages aboard the QE2 and 4 voyages aboard the QM2.I was booked to do a back2back transatlantic crossing aboard the QM2 next month,but unfortunately I had to cancel that booking because of a lack of funds and reschedule the QM2 booking to next April 14th to do a back2back transatlantic crossing and I am also interested in doing a Panama Canal Cruise aboard the Queen Victoria in January of 2010.What I would like to know of the other messageboard members here is what ships and voyages have you done in the past and in the future? Thanks Ziggy and Stephen.Stephen I really hope you enjoy your cruise aboard the QE2 next month.It is sad that the QE2 is leaving service in about 2 1/2 months time,But at least the future of the Cunard Line does look bright with the very young QM2,the new Queen Victoria and in about 2 years time there will be a new Queen Elizabeth. I am looking forward to it even though I will be sad to leave her for the last time. Still I have a cruise on QM2 next July to look forward to and then QV in Novmeber 2009. As for 2010 who knows, but I don' think I will be trying the new Queen Elizabeth until at least 2011, to allow them time to sort out all those little problems you always get with new ships.
