    Three queens in Southampton

I had a wonderful day in Southampton well worth the 500 mile round trip. Here are my pictures

I guess this should be 3 queens and a princess. The ships are Queen Elizabeth 2, Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Pacific Princess.

It's the steam whistle of the original Queen Mary, as you can see it was in use

Stephen, what is the significance of the different blasts on the whistle? Some were very short while others were lingering.

That was so neat seeing them---even at the end in the distance you could hear the whistles.

I don't know if it has any significance or whether they were just having fun. Maybe someone else will know?
