I keep checking the cunard website, both the uk and us, but they have still not been updated with the new grades. I know I will be Diamond .

Has anyone had any official information from Cunard yet?

Well the US site has been updated, but still waiting for the UK site to confirm this applies to us.

Silver

I am Diamond and really looking forward to getting my 8 hours free internext access.

Stephen, that is a really good perk! Internet is so expensive and sloooow onboard.

So, never having sailed with Cunard (YET) tell me what Todd English is. I assume a restaurant, but what makes it special?

Yes it's a restaurant one of those with an extra charge. I think its Italian, but as I have only ever been on QE2,which does not have a Todd English, I can't comment one what makes it special.

So you will have something to look forward to when you cruise those two ladies!

The internet is worth about $160.00 and the discount on dry cleaning sounds good, I might have to take some extra clothes with me just to get them cleaned.

I am going to have to go on Queen Victoria now, just to claim by free lunch, of course they do say there is no such thing as a free lunch.

Cunard Adds New Benefits to World Club Programme

Tiers Based on Number of Voyages and Days at Sea

New "Diamond" Member Level Added Valencia, CA - October 29, 2007 - The Cunard World Club® has introduced a range of new benefits and tiers tailored to frequent Cunard travellers. Among the enhancements is a new "Diamond" tier for the most loyal Cunard guests and a revised tier structure that better reflects the traveling patterns of the line's discerning travellers. Now, for example, Cunard guests can achieve higher tier levels based on their number of days at sea as well as their number of completed voyages.

"When it comes to acknowledging our guests' dedication and passion for Cunard, we seek to be the 'best in class' and these enhancements reflect the V.I.P. services and experiences that our loyal guests find most valuable," said Carol Marlow, Cunard's president and managing director.

Cunard World Club now has four tier levels: Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Each tier has valuable benefits, which increase based on the number or voyages of days at sea.

World Club Silver guests are those who have completed one voyage and receive a tiered key card, onboard welcome back letter, World Club member savings, access to a dedicated World Club Desk (shoreside and aboard), quarterly Cunarder magazine and entrée to the members' section at cunard.com.

World Club Gold level is achieved on the third through seventh voyages (or 20th through 69th day at sea) and guests receive a World Club Gold pin and invitation to the Members' Cocktail Party, as well as a credit towards a complimentary Internet package (up to two hours, valued at $50 per person) and preferred reservations in Todd English.

Cunard World Club Platinum is earned on the eighth through fifteenth voyages (or 71st through 149th days at sea), which include all Gold member benefits and complimentary Internet package (up to 4 hours total, valued at $90 per person), discounts on dry cleaning, laundry services and White Star luggage service, a complimentary exclusive wine tasting onboard, and an invitation to the Senior Officers' Party, as well as the World Club Platinum pin, and priority check-in and disembarkation.

Representing the pinnacle of Cunard loyalty is the new World Club Diamond level - Cunarders who've completed at least 15 voyages or 150 days at sea receive all Platinum benefits in addition to a Diamond-level World Club pin, complimentary Internet package (up to eight hours total, valued at $170 per person), complimentary lunch in Todd English, a dedicated Diamond Member contact at the Shoreside World Club Desk, priority luggage delivery and priority reservations with the Voyage Sales Specialists.
