Thread: QE2 on TV ... perhaps?

According to tonights Daily Echo (p43 if you happen to have one )
"Nicole" (from pussycat dolls) "and Craig" (david) "Ready to rock on board QE2"

Channel 4's flagship music show Transmission with T-Mobile reaches Southampton this week....

The action begins later today when Nicole plus ... film on board luxury liner QE2 at its dock in Southampton

but isn't she in the Med tonight, and for at least another week

well Transmission with tmobile is due to be screened on channel 4 at 11:30pm on Friday Oct 26th - repeated on T4 the next day at 2:55

If I hear any more, I will let you know

I'm the same about the QE2 and TV (well any ship i have been on really, its just Caronia & Oceana aren't considered particularly newsworthy or photogenic for some reason )

i'm still waiting for the keeping up appearances on QE2 to be repeated - it was on at Christmas, but on one of the between days, and despite my scanning the schedules in advance I managed to miss all but the last 10 mins of it.

It was the same with 'Vicars Wives' (about real vicars wives ) - suddenly at 11:30 on a Sunday night, there was the QE2 - for all of 30 seconds before that segment finished - there was a potential 10 minutes that I had missed .

However, I have FINALLY got a 2008 brochure & the DVD, so I at least have some interior shots of the QE2 (though most did seem to be of places I have never seen - posh restaurants and rather large staterooms do they really exist on the QE2 )

Finally got around to reading today's Echo, and they are still perpetuating the myth that the QE2 was docked in Southampton, last night

Pussycat doll Nicole rocks on the QE2
Southampton shot up in the glamour stakes last night when super sexy popstar Nicole Scherzinger performed on the QE2 which is docked in the city.

The former Pussycat Doll was one of the acts performing on the luxury liner for the filming of the channel 4 flagship music show .....
