    QM Shipwreck Halloween Terror Fest

    FROM: Shipwreck - Shipwreck 2007

Every October the Queen Mary in Long Beach transforms into "The Most Terrifying Place On Earth" for Shipwreck, the Queen Mary's Halloween Terror Fest. Each year Shipwreck unveils a new creation that delivers ultimate horror to the daring mortals that brave this terrifying event. Admission includes unlimited entry to all Mazes, Purgatory Park featuring Live Bands, the 3 level Dance Party in the Queen Mary's Exhibit Hall and a second Dance Party housed within the all new Dome of Doom! Plus, don't forget to visit the frightfully sexy Fright Mistress in her private lair. Everyone knows the Queen Mary is haunted and is no stranger to haunted happenings. Throughout the years, Queen Mary employees, guests and visiting psychics have reported unexplainable events and paranormal activity aboard the ship. Visitors to Shipwreck will have the opportunity to encounter these areas as they descend deep into the bowels of the ship and navigate the closed corridors and dark hallways of this massive haunted vessel!

Tickets are $35 pp and there are a limited number of cabins available for overnight stays

Interesting notes on the 'dress code' for the event (from the site):

Ticket sales and access into the park will be refused to any persons wearing or having in their possession the following articles. These articles include but are not limited to: Baggy or sagging pants, Wallet chains that extend past the pockets, Headbands, Bandanas, Spiked wristbands, Spiked belts and collars, All starter gear, Old English style writing on hats shirts or pants and Oversized or extra long T-Shirts and Necklaces. The Queen Mary and surrounding acreage is private property. The Management reserves the right to refuse entry or eject from the property, anyone that is deemed unruly or is no longer welcome at management's discretion.

This is great!! I would love to spend a night here, has anyone ever done it????
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Yes me and my friend stayed on the Queen Mary last year and it was great. OMG the customes looked so real. I was jumping all night especially from the bloody customes. They was walking around the ship wearing their customes and you may run into any character. It was well organized and well planned.

Sounds like a recommendation to me!

Might be a really fun evening for some of our members who live out that way.

Yes,be prepared to stand in long lines but moves quickly. OMG! We didn't know that this event was big as it was. We read signs all day long on the Queen Mary about this event but to actually experience it was great. The set up is awesome. We stayed at the Queen Mary in which this was a plus because we had access to more events .
