Thank you for posting the pictures.
The new balcony furniture looks really nice.

The Vision is going into dry dock again in 2013 to get the same refit as the Splendour this November and the Grandeur in May 2012.

I would really love to see the Vision class ships refurbished with new alternative restaurants and a more up to date look.

I see you have cruised with MSC, how did you like that??

Yes, it will be nice to see the details of her coming dry dock. She really needs another restaurant as you mention!

Well, my experiences with MSC is not that very good. Had big expectations but they were a let down. The food was a big disappointment and the service and the staff/crew was often really bad. Then you couldnt have a snack/meal when you wanted becouse of the limited opening hours. The same on drinks, juice was only available at breakfast, and only water, tea or coffee the rest of the day. And drinks wasnt cheap!
I can make a long list of the things I found bad, but to summarize my opinions about MSC is that I will never cruise with them again.

2010 - Vision of the Seas - Bergen and Geiranger
2011 - Vision of the Seas - Warnemünde och Oslo
    2011 - MSC Poesia - Norwegian coast
2011 - MSC Orchestra - Germany and Norway
Coming 2012 - Vision of the Seas - Copenhagen to Istanbul

I always wanted to try MSC but have heard so many conflicting reports I might as well give it a miss.

What is it that you like about the Vision since you keep cruising with her??

Well, I think you should give MSC a try and get your own opinion. I didnt like them, but perhaps you will. And MSC usually have very nice offers. I only paid 3500 SEK for a balcony cabin with the MSC Poesia this summer. It was a last-minute deal but Im sure you can find a cheap cruise some time in advance as well.

My first cruise with the Vision of the Seas was my first ever cruise and becouse she was based here up in Scandinavia, I didnt needed to take a fly. The second cruise we booked becouse we got a good deal and becouse we wanted a short breakaway. And this third coming cruise was again becouse of a great deal and becouse one of the aft corner balconies were available. Of course I really like Vision but Im sure I would have booked the same cruises even if it was another ship.

Well, I might give them a try.
the price you got for your MSC cruise was a steal. They do have some great deals from time to time.

I hear you on the Vision.
We also cruise her a lot because its so convenient to fly to a Scandinavian port.
The service is really hit and miss and the food is...well...Royal Caribbean

I am looking forward to our Solstice cruise in about 2 weeks time.
What I am trying to do is to find a great deal on a 7 days cruise before our October 23 cruise.....I am looking at NCL Epic October 16 and MSC Orchestra Oct 14.
As pr now the prices for inside cabins (which are the only cabins available) are around $889,- pr. person.
