Carnival 'Splendor'
Has anyone cruised on the new Carnival cruise ship 'Splendor'? We will be setting sail this November. We have booked an Oceanview room on the Panorama Deck.
In 2006 we took our first cruise on Royal Caribbean 'Explorer of the Seas'. It was a good experience. It would have been a great experience if it weren't for the thin walls between the interior cabins. Unfortunately, we could hear our neighbors having very loud sex daily. We could hear every word and sound uttered. By day 3 we figured out their schedule and slept when they weren't in their cabin. The food was great, the service was excellent and the entertainment was fabulous. I hope our trip on the Splendor will be great. The cabin we are staying in is one of the spa cabins, so it is private. Hopefully, our neigbors, will be quiet.
I would like to know if anyone has sailed on this new ship and if they had a good experience. I decided against Carnival, because I had heard many negative things about them. I feel confident after reading several reviews that they have indeed improved their reputation. Just looking for some information. Thanks in advance.
