Didn't want to come home!!!
We're looking forward to sailing on the Liberty in one and a half weeks. This time, the Liberty will be going to San Juan, St. Thomas, Antigua, Tortola, and Nassau. I know my husband will be looking forward to the water slide. Speaking of slides, I remember Margaritaville at Grand Cayman, and the water slide on the second floor balcony that goes into the ocean. We had a friend who went on it, forgetting that he still had money in his pocket. I have a photo of him laying his money out on a table in the sun, while someone wanted to put braids in his chest hair! (Needless to say, he was in the hairy chest contest on board!) I was glad to see what we, too, missed in Costa Maya, since all I found online was the photos after Hurricane Dean. We ended up going to Roatan on that cruise. We can't wait to see the Liberty up close and personal!!![]()

Thanks for this great video. A group of us will be traveling on the Liberty this July. It was great to get a look at the ship and a sense of what its like. Looks like you all had a great trip. I'll share with my travel buddies!
We just came home yesterday from the 8 day itinerary on the Liberty, and while waiting at the airport to return home, we could see her sail out on her next voyage. If you ever go on that itinerary, which includes San Juan, allow yourself enough time to see the port. We were only there from 5 PM to 10 PM, and after eating at our normal dining time, we only had a couple of hours to walk a few blocks in the dark and buy souvenirs from the street vendors. But the view of the fort at San Juan was spectacular when sailing in and out of the port.

Thank you Sandie, for saying those nice things about San Juan, I live here in Puerto Rico about 20 minutes from San Juan and it is always a pleasure to hear good reviews, or comments from the tourist that come to Puerto Rico. I am very glad that you loved it and hope you will be back for a longer time so you can enjoy all of the other beautiful things the Island has to offer.

Sara - Thanks! We'll be arriving at the San Juan Airport at 2:45 PM in December for the cruise on the Victory. We're planning on boarding the ship first, then doing some sightseeing. Any recommendations?
David - Consider the southern route on Carnival. There's a port every day. St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Kitts, and back to San Juan. We're really looking forward to it!
