My kids loved this! Honestly they were there almost the entire time it was open.
The way it works is, they will have a time allotted for surfers and then for boogie boarding. Yes they can open or shall I say divide the area up to make two places to play.
I never witnesses anything like a 2 hour wait. The lines were long at times and it was hard to determine which line/side to get in because you never knew how well someone would be able to do. You really do not have an allotted time. It was more like until you wiped out. I never saw them make someone quit because the real good ones would get bored and try something different which would cause them to wipe out. I would say the longest line might have been 30 minutes long and then it was up to you how long you rode the board. If you wiped out too quickly they would allow you to go again but that seldom happened while I was there.
If you notice the length of the pool I would say the line only got a little longer than that but remember most of the time it the pool was divided and had tywo sides going at one time.
