...pretty sure everyone had seen this already except me, but in case you haven't, there are tons of horror stories on here

I guess we can learn a lesson or two just by reading a few of the cases.

Yep...this web site has been around for awhile. Notice the big ads for the lawyers?

It has some good info, but be aware that it is somewhat sensationalized.

When I first heard about this site, I checked it out to see if it's different from cruisejunkie.com. I noticed the lawyers listed too. I think one of them started the site. He even got quoted last year by a newspaper article that seemed to imply cruising was rather unsafe (unfortunately other papers picked it up).

Cruisejunkie was started by someone who is pretty down on cruising, including writing a book. My last cruise got mentioned there because someone dropped their toddler from a gangway into the water on our last port. Fortunately the girl was rescued, but it was the talk at probably every table at dinner that night. This mother was among some adults (an extended family) who had let their brats have the run of the ship all hours of the night while they basically hung out in the casino.
