They got the plane up and running, so we got flew to FLL on a very bumpy roller coaster ride. My GF does not like to fly anyway so she was very stressed. I guess my laughing at her didn't help. We did make it back to earth alive, it was sunny out until we got off of the plane. The clouds got dark, the rain fell the temps dropped. I think the Illinois weatherfollowed us.
I came up with a game plan when we landed, I had Sherry go down to wait for our bags. I went upstairs and got our car rental, then I went back to her, she was still waiting for the bags. We finally got them, then all we had to do was go get the car. Very easy. We found our hotel, the Ramada Inn downtown Hollywood. Not a bad joint, lots of places to go to with a short walk.
The first post had to be cut short because they started to load the plane. We had a guy sitting next to us with his wife behind him, also flew done from Chicago to go on a Princess cruise. The weather is suppose to be great on Sunday, we have a few things that we want to do then get ready for THE CRUISE. I will update when I can.  The temps. here are a lot better than in Illinois. |
