What is a night's sleep like on a cruise ship?

Do you like it? Does it take getting used to?

Heaven. A very gentle rocking makes you sleep like a baby!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

    Wonderful!

Remember when Mama used to rock you to sleep in her rocker?

    No?

Well, you won't remember falling asleep on board, either, 'cause MomShip will be your new rocking chair.

On our two week cruises,(the only way to go, believe me) we usually get a balcony room for the added space. We turn our beds so that the head is up next to the sliding doors to the balcony. Then at night I usually open the door a little bit and listen to the waves swooshing down the side of the ship and feel the gently rocking motion. The next thing I know is it's broad daylight and I've slept in (which is something I never am able to do at home.)

You're rocked to sleep. I especially liked our aft cabin, we got a little more motion back there and it was wonderful.

I agree with Sue. The only complaint I have is sometimes the beds are bit too worn in for me, or too hard. Other than that, it's great.
