Thread: Any cruise related blog topic ideas?

Hey everybody, it's Mikey. I hope it's OK that I post this hear since it is a question! I am currently going through reader's block and was wondering if you had any ideas for a new blog on my cruise blog. I have written a lot about Noro and Concordia recently, so I don't want to write about that again. Well, if you have an idea let me know! Thanks!

Coming up with fresh new topics is tough...great idea losing it to the community. It's often nice to hear what others would like to know about in order to get a little inspiration.

Here's a couple suggestions off the top of my head.
New ship rundown for 2012. Then do breakdowns for each ship in follow up articles.

What about a destination or shore excursion review from you last cruise?

How old are you again? If I recall youre in high school - why not focus on real activties and the best ships for young adults....you're an expert, use that personal experience.

You could do a follow up piece about cruise safety tips to coincide with some of your earlier posts.

You might even cOnsider finding someone in the cruise industry you'd like to interview, submitting the request and send them a list of your questions.

Two more tips: go to the Cruiselinefans twitter feed. Check out everything that I've favorited (starred) there for the last week or so. Tons of inspiration to be found there.

I was going to say almost the same thing Tim said - especially since you are in high school. Why not do a perspective of how you think the teen activities are. Is there a hole in the activities list for those who are too old or mature for the kids programs but not old enough to fully meet the requirements for the adult activities? I know that some ships lounges are off limits to anyone younger than 18 (or in some cases 21). How does it feel to be in that group?

Ditto on the cruiselinefans twitter feed on Tuesday (plug for Tim here) Lots of good ideas get batted around.

Thanks! Wait where in the post? Also, I didn't add Royal since they don't have a ship coming out this year.

I thought they were bringing out a new class of ship shortly, the sunshine class. I know it is not launching this year, but people are talking about it already.

They are in 2014, I was just covering the ships that are coming out this year. Don't worry, I will write about them soon!
