    If that is the choice then yes I agree, the lifeboat does look more appearling. Lets hope no one ever had to make that choice.

    Those are some massive life boats!

    It seems to me though that with a life boat that big that holds that many people , that if the ship was in accident and one of them where to get damaged it`s just that many more people that would not have a life boat. Do they extra life boats in case something like that where to happen?

    Oh yes, their lifeboat capacity is quite a bit greater than the ship capacity. Look at the number of lifeboats on the ship.

    The "Rescue Vessels" sure are large, but the seats don't appear that way at all. It seems they would be quite uncomfortable for sitting if one were on the plumper end of the spectrum, which much of this world (especially in America) is.
