Which cruise lines honor a reduction in price after you have booked and after final payment??
Also, which cruise line does not honor a reduction in price after booking and final payment???


I suppose most of us know that Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Azamara honor a reduction in price after booking and final payment.

But who else????

i believe carnival do as well. N.C.L. do not.

Does that mean Carnival Cruise line only or do you mean all the cruise lines in the Carnival cooperation???

Cunard do if you book in the US but don't if you book in the UK. Something I am not happy about.

HAL used to -- but the rules have changed. If you want the lower price HAL is making most passengers cancel the original booking and book again at the lower price . One catch -- if there is a waiting list -- you may not get the same cabin you originally booked.

Carnival no longer honors price reductions after final payment has been made unless you booked the Early Saver Farel - then this has to be requested online. They use to honor price reductions, but their policy changed when they implemented the new Early Saver Fare.

Royal Caribbean and Celebrity are the easiest to work with when price reductions are available after final payment has been made.

NCL won't.

HAL will under some circumstances, but have started to change their policies.

Princess will honor an "across the board" price reduction.

However, and a BIG HOWEVER ... They will NOT when it's for NEW Bookings only.

Guess what! As you probably guessed ....Seldom do they have an "across the board" ... just New Bookings.

At that point works like KK explained with HAL.
