Thread: Grand Princess - Stateroom Power Outlets

We are from New Zealand and will be cruising the Mediterranean on the Grand Princess later this year. Presumably the stateroom power outlets take US plugs so we will need to bring a NZ-US adaptor? Can anyone confirm

Hi John, I'm from Australia and cruising the Med on the Grand Princess. My travel agent told me that they're US plugs so take an International adaptor. We cruised New Zealand on the Sun Princess from Sydney January 2008 and the ship had Australia power sockets. I don't know if the Grand will change to UK ones while its leaving from Southampton.. So if you take the international it will suit either.

All the Princess ships I have been on have had US outlets, including the Grand and the Sun.

Apparently they refitted both the Dawn & Sun once they became based in Australia. We were on the Sun in January 2008. Even the slot machines in the casino were changed to accept Aussie dollars.
