Thread: Would you fancy being on this cruise ?

I have spent the last 45 min looking at several of those videos of the rough seas and huge waves, YIKES I have had some rough seas where the pool water went over the deck but nothing like what I was watching. I do enjoy the rougher seas but don't think I would like them that rough!!!!!

Agree with Carol ... like it rough ... but not that rough!

Once, the waves were splashing on our balcony and against the balcony door which was on a high deck and the whole swimming deck looked like a swimming pool ... but, it didn't seem nearly as rough ....

I sailed the NCL Sea in November of 2002. It was rough just about the whole cruise. Didn't bother me at all but I was in the minority. Half the passengers and one third of the crew were sick at some time or another.
I remember sitting at the pool bar one morning and watching the bow of the ship raise up and slam back down into the water. The water in the pool was sloshing back and forth and spraying up into the air at each end.
I was sipping a spicy Bloody Mary and the bar manager stopped by to say he would be putting me to work as a bartender if he lost another bartender to sea sickness.
I ordered another round.
