Thread: What do your Shipboard Charges Run for a 7 day cruise?

Here is the poll I was referring to..............

We usually book our own shore excursions, so most of our shipboard account is a bar tab. On a 7 day cruise, we usually have a $700 or so shipboard account bill. We do gratuities on that too, midweek adding them in, but also put extra cash in the envelopes above the recommended amounts. I rarely buy anything in the ship shops, except emergency purchases, and we are not casino or bingo people. ONCE my DH bought an internet package .. had to work on the cruise (hey, it's better than not going at all), and that alone put a $200 dent in our shipboard account. Talk about sticker shock!

We're at least $1000. I'll admit it's mostly our drink tab (during the day we actually buy those mega-Evian bottles of water). But we do drink Martini's and Wine. We also do about two spa treatments each plus a salon visit for each of us. Some pictures too. We don't even do excursions. So yep! it adds up.
