On our 15-day cruise in December we spent a little under $900 on our shipboard account for the three of us, but that included:

tips (automatically added by Princess onto shipboard acc't) -- but doesn't include cash given to room steward for extra tip and to fun zone counselors

ship excursions (again, charged onto shipboard acc't; even tho' we booked online, Princess doesn't charge your account until the excursions are closed for that port) three of them for Hawaii for all three of us

drinks (one alcoholic, three sodas -- I ran out of the Pepsi I brought aboard, two hot chocolates)

some t-shirts, keychains from the stores

I can't think of anything else as we didn't even go into the casino or use the Internet.

No matter how hard I prepare, we always spend money in the gift shop on something one of us left behind (a purse or medication, etc.), as well as at almost every bar. We also get cash from the casino, which goes on our bill. Only some of it is for spending outside the casino.

7 night cruise.........on the average what do you spend?

We will usually run up a little over $300. on our S&S.. That includes tips, but not excursions, which we book on land..

I spent a Grand last time for the 3 of us!

Spa treatments, Casino, arcade, gift shop, oh yea drinks, tips for 3 is $210

etc...

Hubby and I aren't drinkers, so not including tips I'd say we spend around $150. That includes a few souveniers and a few espresso's. I'll have one or two drinks on the whole cruise. That will include one ship excursion as well.

It depends on where we're going, and on what cruise line. We tend to buy most of the photos (I can't resist!) and we love the out of the ordinary excursions...which are sometimes pricey. If a helicopter ride is $250 per person, for example, we're already up to $500. And even though we get free beer, wine, liquor in the room, water and sodas, I still manage to rack up a bar bill by asking for strawberry margaritas for sitting in the jacuzzi!

So I put $1,000-$1,300.

If we aren't including excursions, our total would be a lot less...maybe around $400.

For purchase (excluding casino and offboard purchases) we probably spend about $200-$300 total, most of that from excursions.

Do none of you drink???

Lets say $7 a drink 1 a day x 7 days is $49
2 drinks a day for the week $100 for 1 person,, wife does the same $200 drinks alone.. Come on now who is not telling the truth...
