I usually do gratuities automatically added to my account, but beyond that, its probably one night at the alternate dining room, a soda card, and maybe a few souveniers purchased on board.

I usually pre-purchase all of my excursions, so I don't have that to worry about. And no one in my family drinks alcohol so that saves on the costs as well.

$47.00

When in 2003? I was on the Splendour March 2003. Loved it, had a blast (spent more than $47.00 though)

Same one we took in March. Was Jamaica back to normal by that time? We ran into a bad storm leaving Cozumel and never made it to Grand Cayman or Jamaica, seas too rough and a lot of coast damage. We were diverted to Costa Meya and Belize (wonderful ports) and then back on the itenerary with Honduras and Key West. I have to get back for my swim with the dolphins that I missed.

Calm seas for 9 of the 10 days.............only a thunderstorm leaving Key West interrupted what I called a perfect cruise. We did stop at Monetgo Bay instead of Ocho Rios......but everything else was as planned

Great, but then to me any cruise is a perfect cruise, you just have different "adventures" with each one.
Well I guess we better get back On Topic before we get in trouble.

I used to bring cash for tips and now they are included in the account, guess that's ok with me. I usually have the shore excursions, one or two drinks a day, occasionally a purchase on ship, and I am a big sucker for the pics they take, so I guess that can put it to $500-$600. I'm on vacation, so what the heck,
I sometimes drive my friends nuts with all the ship pics I want taken, but I sure enjoy looking at them over again, a good souvineer for me,
Last cruise was 10 days and all hubby had on his account was the tips for about $100. He doesn't drink or shop and the one tour and the pics and my drinks were on mine. That was about $500 for the 10 days. I don't think that is too bad,
Carol
