If we can get it up on the TV will probably look, but always got an idea what the amount will be at the end of the cruise. Gratuities, shore excursion and drink bill are all that’s liable to be on so it’s easy to keep track of.
I check it twice a day - I don't want surprises
I check it once a day.
I check it every other day or so.
I have someone else check the account for our cabins.
I just check in at the end of the week - always a shocker!
Other - Please explain.

LOL, well I know that's how I personally feel!
I will say that some of the babble going on at guest relations can be pretty entertaining however! I was getting some comment cards on our last NCL cruise and these two people were totally complaining about every little thing....I walked up and was very happy with everything.....they stopped to listen and actually looked stunned!
And the bar tab complaining, well that's a whole other thing.![]()

We check the last night and I mentally have an idea, but I am always surprised by extra purchases by my lovely wife. I do check the first couple of days when we are getting onboard credits from the line or TA to see if credits are there.
If I can check it in my cabin on the TV then I will do so within the last few days of the cruise. Otherwise, I just keep a tally in my head. I go on a cruise to enjoy myself so I don't obsess on what I spend each day.

I save all the receipts and check them against the bill on the last night when we get the bill. On some cruises, one of us needs a second room key, and we get an list of charges at that time to check that nothing was added on by the wrong person. But constant checking would just not be convenient or fun.
On our first cruise, I had been very careful about charging things to the account. Then I left my room key in the cabin, and had to get another key, and got a good look at our bill. No wonder every bartender knew my husband! After that, I relaxed and enjoyed more things on the ship.![]()

I just keep a mental note of our spending. And I always keep all the tickets I sign for just in case. And me and the hubby both enjoy our DOD'S and we gamble a bit but only the slots no big spenders here. But most of our money goes on excursions and drinks and of course tips!!
All you have to do is look at the lines at the reception/pursers desk that last day or so and you know why it is a good idea to keep track. No one in their right mind wants to get caught up in that line. Those folks just never look happy....
