Last cruise, our cabin was close to the casino, and it was way too convenient to pop downstairs and throw a $20 in the slots and see what happened.
I stick to the nickel slots. I put in 10-20 dollars, and as soon as I am ahead, I cash out. I put my winnings away, and reuse the first bill. Sometimes that just doesn't work out (that is, I lose), but since it works about 50% of the time, that's good enough for me.
DH is another story! He plays the dollar machines!
He even played a $5 machine this last cruise, but swears he'll never do that again.
We played roulette for the first time on this cruise. My bets were much more conservative than DH's, and as a result, he has that bug worse than I do. And that's OK. It's bad enough that I was hearing slot machines in my sleep last week!!!!
Funny thing was that the hotel we stayed at in San Juan had a casino too. And while that was fun (we won!!!!), now I'm going thru withdrawal!! I'm trying to talk DH into a trip to VegasBaby.
