Thread: Major Holidays: Have you ever cruised on any of these?

4th of July was spent in St Petersburg, Russia. Had more fun on the ship than on land. Sailled Halloween several times and had a Great time every time. Enjoyed the Thanksgiving cruise but not the turkey dinner.

My first full day on a cruise (Day 2) will be Mother's Day. That's a coincidence because it is a repositioning cruise, but obviously, it will be the best Mother's Day my mom ever had in 39 years.

One day I will never be on a cruise for any reason is St. Patrick's Day because my dad, who was Irish, died on March 17, 2005. A cruise that day would be OK if the holiday was only celebrated in Ireland, but as it is, I need to stay away from everything related to St. Patrick's Day by isolating myself at home.
