    How Many Cruises?

I believe this poll was done sometime in the past on CruiseLineFans.com, but it's about time to do it again, as I'm pretty sure most people's answers will be different now.

How many (total) cruises have you taken?

(No, the 3 - 6 hour trips on gambling boats don't count!)

Please leave a comment telling us HOW LONG you have been cruising, or WHAT YEAR you took your first, if you don't mind.

We didn't start cruising until 2001, but we are REALLY working at making up for lost time.
I was able to check the 26 - 49 option.

You sure have caught up. I'll be honest I'm still in the 1-5 range. Terrible.

I have been on a bunch more ship visits and cruise industry conferences since starting to do the CruiseLineFans.com thing in 2009. Those pesky newborns (x2) have hampered our overall vacation style since - but now that they're both of cruising age - we're on the hunt again for a great family cruise option for 2012.

I was just looking at your profile the other day and noticed how many Sovereign of the Seas curises you've been on - amazing. You sure loved that ship! Still do, I assume.

Thanks for posting this great thread!

We have been on way more cruises than I have a written record of! We threw a lot of "stuff" away when we moved away from Miami and cruise "stuff" was part of it!

We took our first cruise April 29, 1988 on the Amerikanis owned by Chandris which later became Celebrity.

We have more than a year on the ocean with 233 days on Celebrity. Can't tell you exactly how many cruises total, but somewhere between 50 and 74...with more planned!

Now that we are retired we cruise at least 2 times a year, more when we can swing it.

In 2010 we cruised 5 times (including 2 7 dayers back to back) for 45 days..this year only twice for 30 days...a transatlantic for 13 days and Panama Canal for 17 days.

Our upcoming cruise in March is 11 days and we don't have anything booked beyond that.

    Retirement is great!
